Abstract:Objective systematically integrate the qualitative studies on the experience of patient participating in medication safety, in order to provide a basis for formulating safety management strategies of patients participating in medication safety. Methods Qualitative studies on the experience of patient participating in medication safety were searched in CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, SinoMed, PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, PsycINFO, Medline and CINAHL databases. The search time was limited to January 2024.The quality of the included literatures was evaluated according to Joanna Briggs Institute appraisal tool for qualitative studies. The results were re-integrated by the aggregated Meta integration method. Results A total of 8 literatures were included, 40 research results were extracted, 6 new categories were formed, and 2 integrated results were summarized: Patients" attitude of participating in medication safety and the barriers affecting patients" participation in medication safety. Conclusion Medical institutions should accelerate the construction of patient participation in safety culture, attach importance to the establishment of effective doctor-patient interaction mode, and actively carry out the health education of patient participation in medication safety, so as to promote the further implementation of patient participation in medication safety strategy, and effectively ensure patient medication safety.
