Abstract:This review introduces the concept of vicarious resilience, its assessment tool, and related interventions. It is suggested that the conceptual understanding of vicarious resilience among nurses should be further developed, a vicarious resilience scale tailored to the Chinese cultural context should be created, and vicarious resilience should be incorporated into trauma-informed care training programs. These efforts aim to foster the personal growth of clinical nurses, mitigate burnout, reduce turnover intention, and stabilize the nursing workforce.
