Abstract:Objective To analyze and clarify the conceptual connotations of nurses′ psychological detachment, and to provide a refe-rence for further research and intervention.Methods A systematic search was performed in CNKI, Wanfang Data, VIP, SinoMed, PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, CINAHL, and Embase for literature related to nurses′ psychological detachment.Walker and Avant′s concept analysis method was applied to synthesize and analyze the concept.Results Fifty articles were included.Nurses′ psychological detachment was characterized by three defining attributes:active self regulation, restoration of psychological resources, maintenance of role boundaries.Antecedents included individual factors, stressor factors, and organizational factors.Consequences were identified at three levels:individual nurse level,patient level, organizational level.Measurement tools included the Psychological Detachment from Work Scale, the Recovery Experience Questionnaire, and the Psychological Detachment Scale.Conclusion Research on nurses′ psychological detachment helps to gain a deeper understanding of their mental health status and work recovery mechanisms, and can also provide important evidence for formulating related policies, optimizing the nursing workforce, and improving the quality of nursing services.
