Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effect of integrating a knowledge graph with an artificial intelligence (AI) teaching assistant in the course teaching of Rehabilitation Nursing, and to provide evidence for reforming rehabilitation nursing education. Methods Using a cluster grouping method, two regularly enrolled sophomore undergraduate nursing classes (Class of 2023) were divided into a control group (n=60) and an experimental group (n=60).The control group received traditional teaching methods, while the experimental group adopted a blended teaching model integrating knowledge graph and AI teaching assistant. At the end of the semester, the course′s continuous assessment score and written exam score, deep learning engagement, critical thinking ability, and learning initiative were compared between the two groups. Results The experimental group demonstrated significantly higher scores in course performance, deep learning engagement, critical thinking ability, and learning initiative compared to the control group (all P<0.05).Conclusion The blended teaching model integrating knowledge graph and AI teaching assistant enhances teaching effectiveness in the course of Rehabilitation Nursing, and improve nursing students′ deep learning, critical thinking, and proactive learning behaviors.
