Abstract:Objective To explore the effectiveness of D-Wall in rehabilitation nursing for children with movement disorders and to promote their recovery. Methods Forty children with movement disorders were chronologically divided into one of two groups, with 20 cases in each group. The control group received routine rehabilitation nursing, while the observation group received rehabilitation training using D-Wall. Before the intervention and immediately after 2 treatment courses, limb movement function, balance function and daily living ability were assessed for both groups. Results After the intervention, the scores of the Fugl-Meyer Assessment, the Berg Balance Scale and the modified Barthel Index in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (all P<0.05). Conclusion The application of D-Wall in rehabilitation training can enhance limb movement performance, balance ability and daily living ability of children with movement disorders.
