This paper reviews the development, main content, characteristics, application, and advantages and limitations of assessment tools for interprofessional collaboration competence of medical students, with the aim of providing a basis for the scientific evaluation of interprofessional collaboration competence of medical students in China in the future, and promoting research on interprofessional collaboration in China.
