This study elaborates the importance of research and development on intelligent aging-friendly assistive devices and its application scenarios, mainly introduces its categories and functions, including aids for self-care, aids for health monitoring and management,aids for safety, aids for companionship and communication, and aids for rehabilitation training.This study also analyzes the challenges of intelligent aging-friendly assistive devices and puts forward prospect, aiming to provide references for designing intelligent aging-friendly assistive devices that meet the care needs of dementia patients.
