Abstract:Objective To establish an internet-based breastfeeding consultation clinic to protect,promote,and support breastfeeding.Methods An online breastfeeding consultation platform was created, a consultation service team was assembled, and team members were trained and assessed.Online breastfeeding consultation services were implemented, with enhanced quality control and management. Data on consultation volume, nurses′ response time, service duration, and patient satisfaction were collected and analyzed.Results From June to December 2024, a total of 183 consultations were conducted. The most frequent concerns were insufficient milk supply and medication-related issues, accounting for 48.80% of all inquiries.The median nurse response time was 26 minutes, and the median consultation duration was 20 minutes.Maternal satisfaction with the consultation service reached 99.15%.Only five cases required referral to offline nursing or medical clinics.Conclusion The internet-based breastfeeding consultation clinic provides convenient and professional nursing services, effectively addressing maternal breastfeeding-related concerns.The high responsiveness of nurses and the timely, accessible service model significantly improve maternal satisfaction with internet-based nursing care.
