This study provided an overview of oral health status in chronic kidney disease patients, the impact of oral health on disease progression, oral health-related quality of life in chronic kidney disease patients, and current oral care practice and its associated factors in this population. It emphasized the importance of fostering oral health competencies among interdisciplinary healthcare providers and enhancing patients′ awareness and practice related to oral hygiene, aiming to improve oral health outcomes of chronic kidney disease patients.
