This article introduces the concept of trauma informed care and its current application in HIV infected individuals/AIDS patients, including assessment tools, levels, influencing factors, and intervention strategies. Research prospects are proposed from three aspects: adhering to the concept of trauma informed care, constructing multidisciplinary intervention plans, and developing localized assessment tools, aiming to provide references for related research and clinical practice.
