Abstract:Objective To systematically review thesexual life and intimate relationshipexperience of cervical cancer patients, and to provide references for promoting patients'sexual rehabilitation. Methods Qualitative studies on the experience of sexual life and intimate relationship in cervical cancer patients were retrieved and screened in both Chinese and English databases, from database inception until November 2024. The results were integrated by meta-aggregative approach, and the JBI approach for rating confidence of synthesized qualitative findings (ConQual) was used to evaluatethe confidence levelof the synthesized findings. Results A total of 23 studies were included, from which 54 results were extracted and summarized into nine categories.These categories were further synthesized into three themes:cervical cancer patients face multiple changes and challenges in sexual life, intimate relationships undergo changes and adjustments as changes in sexual life, and the needs and expectations of cervical cancer patients regarding sexual rehabilitation.The overall quality of the integrated evidence was moderate. Conclusion Cervical cancer patients face multiple changes in their sexual life after treatment. Medical professionals should pay attention to their feelings and experiences, emphasize the important role of partner support in sexual rehabilitation, and provide patients with relevant informational, medical, and social support topromote their sexual rehabilitation.
