Abstract:Objective To explore the practice effect of "Internet+" regional linkage cloud management by specialist nurses for diabetic foot patients. Methods A total of 108 diabetic foot inpatients hospitalized from January 2023 to June 2024 were selected and divided into an intervention group and a control group according to their linkage areas, with 54 cases in each group. The control group was given routine care and follow-up management, while the intervention group additionally received "Internet+"-based regional linkage cloud management by specialist nurses. Results One month after discharge, the wound healing score of the intervention group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05); six months after discharge, the recurrence rate of diabetic foot, blood glucose biochemical indexes and quality of life score of chronic wounds of the intervention group were significantly lower than those of the control group, while its score of self-management behaviors was significantly higher than that of the control group (all P<0.05). Conclusion The implementation of "Internet+"-based regional linkage cloud management by specialist nurses can effectively promote wound healing of diabetic foot patients, enhance patients′ health-related behaviors, reduce their recurrence rate of diabetic foot, and improve their quality of life.
