This paper introduces the concept of photo-elicitation interview, its methodological foundations, types of interviews, and implementation steps. It reviews the application progress of photo-elicitation interviews in the field of health and well-being and analyzes and summarizes the advantages and limitations of photo-elicitation interviews, aiming to provide a reference for the localization of photo-elicitation interviews in China.
