The roll-out of palliative care services in emergency departments has received increasing attention. This paper summarizes the current status of palliative care development, intervention contents for patients in emergency departments at home and abroad, analyzes the shortcomings of current research, and puts forward the outlook for future intervention research, hoping to provide some ideas for the development of palliative care in emergency departments.
