Abstract:As an emerging exercise intervention, resistance exercise snacks is characterized by its flexibility and convenience, and has significant advantages when implemented in the home environment.This article reviews the theoretical foundation and implementation strategies of home-based resistance exercise snacks, provides an in-depth analysis of its safety, adherence, acceptability, and effectiveness in improving muscle strength among the elderly, and proposes targeted optimization measures to provide a refe-rence for the development of novel exercise intervention research in China′s elderly population.
