Abstract:Objective To explore the effects of the Trinity Care Model on nurses′ occupational satisfaction and turnover rate, and to promote humanistic care for nurses.Methods A Trinity Caring Model consisted of the nursing department, nursing units and nurses.The nursing department organized humanistic knowledge training and communication for nursing managers, psychological assessment and guidance for nursing staff, and caring activities for nurses.Each nursing unit equipped with caring nursing colleagues′ heart-to-heart records, carried out Batlin′s activities, and specialty-specific caring measures for nurses, and encouraged nursing staff to carry out self-care.Nurse job satisfaction scores and nurse turnover rates were compared in 2021-2023.Results In 2021-2023, the job satisfaction scores of all nursing staff in the hospital were (93.42±6.31), (95.29±4.92), and (96.76±3.71), and the job satisfaction increased year by year, and the difference was statistically significant when comparing the different years (P<0.05); the nurse departure rate in 2021-2023 was 1.49%, 0.58%, 0.80%, respectively, the overall trend of the turnover rate was decreasing, and the difference was statistically significant when comparing different years (P<0.05). Conclusion The implementation of Trinity Caring Model can improve the job satisfaction of nurses, reduce the turnover rate of nurses, and stabilize the nursing team.
