This study introduces the concept of reablement and the assessment tools related to reablement care, and systematically reviews the implementation status of six types of reablement care, namely, function-focused care, self-supporting care, home independence program, stay active at home program, long-term care reablement service, and ASSIST program, and puts forward the research insights with the aim of providing references for promoting the implementation of reablement care in China.
