Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of peer-supported learning in training of evidence-based nursing (EBN) in frontline nurses.Methods A total of 39 frontline nurses received EBN training by using peer-supported learning strategy, involving 14 sessions of group activities.Their EBN knowledge, attitudes and behaviors, as well as ability to perform EBN practice were compared before and after the training.Results All the above-mentioned parameters were significantly improved after the training (all P<0.05).Conclusion Application of peer-supported learning in EBN training for frontline nurses, can effectively promote their EBN knowledge, attitudes and behaviors, as well as EBN nursing practice.
