In the course of Fundamentals of Nursing, a "one body with two wings" ideological and political education model is constructed, with classroom teaching as the mainstay and online platforms for autonomous learning and social practice as the two wings.This model integrates eight core ideological and political elements (political identity, patriotism, professional ethics, scientific spirit, moral cultivation, legal literacy, cultural literacy, and the spirit of Florence Nightingale) with professional knowledge to carry out ideological and political education, which has achieved good effects and realized the coordinated cultivation of students in three dimensions:online and offline, inside and outside class, and on and off campus.Fundamentals of Nursing has been recognized as a provincial-level demonstration course for ideological and political theory education.
