This paper reviews the concept, measuring tools prevalence，abnormal psychological status and behaviors, as well as intervention measures of body dysmorphic disorder in plastic surgery patients, aiming to provide references for further improvement in assessment and intervention of body dysmorphic disorder in plastic surgery patients.
