This study introduces the research progress of a new generation of artificial intelligence technology-ChatGPT in application of nursing education, its potential advantages and disadvantages, puts forward the challenges and coping strategies of ChatGPT on traditional nursing education model, so as to provide a reference for promoting the modern development of nursing education.
