Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of group narrative psychotherapy intervention on improving depression and anxiety in adolescent patients with depression. Methods A total of 51 adolescent depression patients admitted from December 2021 to February 2022 were divided into a control group, and 51 adolescent depression patients admitted from March to May 2022 were divided into an intervention groups. Both groups received routine treatment and general psychological nursing. The intervention group added group narrative psychological treatment. Treatment includes setting the goal of narrative group activities, formulating a group narrative psychotherapy plan and implementing group narrative psychotherapy, and comparing the changes in depression and anxiety mood of the two groups. Results The difference in depression and anxiety scores between the two groups at 1, 3 and 4 months after the intervention was statistically significant.The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05 for all). Conclusion Group narrative psychotherapy can effectively improve the depression and anxiety of adolescent depressed patients, and promote rapid recovery and return to family society.
