Abstract:Objective To explore the real experience of on environmental factors for home rehabilitation individuals with spinal cord injury and provide a reference for the intervention strategies. Methods Using the phenomenological research method in qualitative research, 12 home rehabilitation patients with spinal cord injury received semi-structured in-depth interview based on the environmental factors core items of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health,and Colaizzi 7-step analysis method was used to summarize and refine the theme. Results 2 themes were extracted: environmental facilitators (good support atmosphere, warm nursing service mode), environmental barriers (difficulties in adjusting to the home environment, lack of appropriate assistive devices, marital tensions, difficulties in social reintegration, and limited access to social services). Conclusion There are many barriers in the home rehabilitation environment for patients with spinal cord injury. Attention should be paid to the assessment of home rehabilitation environment, improve the multi-dimensional home rehabilitation environment management system, and achieve the home rehabilitation management with the help of artificial intelligence, to promote the rehabilitation process and improve clinical outcomes.
