The paper reviews the current situation and influencing factors of family caregiver involvement in self care for patients with breast cancer-related lymphedema. This paper also posits that interventions targeting caregivers′ negative emotions, health literacy and family resilience could promote their participation in self care of patients, thus to alleviate or eliminate breast cancer-related lymphedema and enhance life quality of patients.
