This paper reviewed the concepts, related theoretical foundations and assessment tools of inclusive leadership, and identified the effectiveness of inclusive leadership in nursing. Due to different organizational culture and climate,the connotation, measurement and determinants of inclusive leadership need to be further studied. Consequently, nurse leaders may adopt inclusive leadership to advance professional development and enhance organizational performance.
