The aim of this article is to discuss the prevalence, common locations, influencing factors, assessment methods, and preventive interventions on oral-mucosal pressure injury associated with oral tracheal intubation in intensive care patients. The results from this study will help healthcare providers to better understand and pay attention to oral-mucosal pressure injury, as well as take effective prevention interventions.
