Abstract:Objective To construct a high-quality online open course of Surgical Nursing based on the concept of "course-job linking, morality-technique dual training", and to explore the application effect. Methods Following the concept of "course-job linking, morality-technique dual training", we reconstructed the knowledge points and developed a high-quality online open course of Surgical Nursing.Three hundred nursing students were assigned to a control group and an experimental group according to their class random number, with 150 in each group.The control group used the traditional lecture method, and the experimental group received both face-to-face and online teaching by using the online open course platform. Results After the course, the experimental group had significantly higher performance in theoretical and skill exams, higher professional identity and self-assessed job competency compared with the control group (all P<0.05). Conclusion The high-quality online open course of Surgical Nursing based on the concept of "course-job linking, morality-technique dual training", can enhance teaching effect and promote nursing students′ professional identity and job competency.
