Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of an innovative training for novice nurses in robot-assisted spine surgery by using Lan-Mo cloud classroom app and simulation. Methods Forty novice operating room nurses were divided into a control group and an observation group chronologically, with 20 in each. The control group was subjected to conventional training method, while the observation group received simulation and online course using Lan-Mo cloud classroom app. Results The scores of theoretical, practical and clinical performance tests, as well as critical thinking ability in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.01 for all). Conclusion The application of Lan-Mo cloud classroom app and simulation training in teaching robot-assisted spine surgery to novice nurses is conducive to enhancing their knowledge, clinical performance and critical thinking ability.
