Abstract:Objective To develop and operate an "internet+nursing" platform based on a tertiary general hospital entity, and provide the basis for advancement of "internet+nursing". Methods A trans-department and multi-disciplinary working group was established. The team integrated the information platforms of the hospital, made the internet as the carrier, and the O2O model as the pathway. Then they used the Java programming language and server-side Java technology from Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition(J2EE) to build an "internet+nursing" platform. At completion, 21 clients and 4 nurses tried out the platform, and they were approached for evaluation of the platform to collect quantitative and qualitative data. Results The average registration time of the 21 clients was (3.21±0.78)min,and the service satisfaction rating of the patients was 100%. Through semi-structured interviews, the patients and nurses were satisfied with the convenience, the professionality and excellent design, and the ease of use of the platform. Conclusion The "internet+nursing" platform, constructed on top of the tertiary general hospital entity and based on policy guidance and patient needs, takes service safety as the core, and enjoys wide applicability and simplicity.
