Abstract:Despite increasing attention to issues such as the diagnosis and prognosis disclosure for pediatric cancer patients, consensus has yet to be reached on whether to disclose it and how to disclose.This article provides a comprehensive review of the current research status, influencing factors, and insights into clinical practice regarding the disclosure of illness in pediatric cancer patients.The aim is to enhance healthcare professionals′ awareness of the issue of disclosing the condition to children with cancer.It also serves as a reference for further exploration of disclosure models that align with the cultural context in China.
