Abstract:Objective To explore the effects of implementing "Internet plus nursing services" led by the specialist group. Methods From July to December 2022 (before the intervention), the conventional "Internet plus nursing services" were conducted by 58 online appointment nurses; while the "Internet plus nursing services" were performed by 103 online appointment nurses led by the specialist group from January to June 2023 (after the intervention). The number of orders received by the online appointment nurses, order-taking behaviors and patient satisfaction were evaluated before and after the intervention. Results A total of 179 and 409 cases times carried out before and after the implementation of "Internet plus nursing services" led by the specialist group, respectively. After the implementation, the order-taking behaviors of the online appointment nurses and patients′ satisfaction with "Internet plus nursing services" were significantly better than those before the implementation (all P<0.05). Conclusion Implementing the "Internet plus nursing service" led by the specialist group is conducive to enhancing online nurses′ willingness to accept orders and improving patients′ experience of receiving the "Internet plus nursing service".
