Abstract:Objective To develop review indicators based on the best evidence of self-care for lower extremity lymphedema after radical cervical cancer surgery, and to analyze the barriers and facilitators, in order to provide a reference for improving evidence clinical translation. Methods A total of 21 pieces of best evidence on self-care for lower extremity lymphedema after radical cervical cancer surgery were summarized, based on which to develop the review indicators and review methods, and analyzed the barriers and facilitators. Results A total of 15 quality review indicators were developed, and the implementation rate of 6 of them was less than 60%. The barriers were mainly the lack of standardized management process, the low cooperation degree of evidence application, the inadequate implementation of health education, the need to improve extended care services, and the lack of awareness of the importance of self-care. Conclusion In the application of evidence, clinical departments should take targeted measures in combination with barriers and facilitators, patients′ wishes and preferences, so as to facilitate the clinical practice of the best evidence.
