Abstract:Using Walker and Avant′s method of concept analysis, this study integrates and analyzes the concept of e-professionalism in nursing, uses of the concept, defining attributes, cases, antecedents and consequences, and empirical measurement tools. E-professionalism in nursing is defined as the attitudes and behaviors that uphold the professional standards and values of nursing while using digital media, thus to reflect professionalism, authority and altruism of nurses, ultimately to promote public health, build personal and professional images, and maintain healthy digital healthcare environments. This research provides theoretical reference for in-depth exploration of e-professionalism in nursing, and for the development of appropriate assessment tools for nursing education and nursing management.
