Abstract:Objective To understand the cognition of nurses regarding information management of hospital at home, and to provide reference for the formulation of related management plans. Methods A total of 17 community nurses from community health service centers in Zhengzhou were selected by purposive sampling method and participated in semi-structured interviews.Content analysis method was used to analyzethe interview data, summarize and refine the themes. Results Three themes were extracted:①insufficient cognition of hospital at home information management (cognitive bias in the concept of hospital at home information management, and insufficient understanding of the role of hospital at home information management);②positive attitude towards the information management of hospital at home (actively in favor of development, concerns);③nurses′ expectations for hospital at home information management (ramping up standardization of information management, strengthening quality control of information management, building a mobile nursing team for hospital at home information, and improving the hospital at home information management system). Conclusion While community nurses have certain enthusiasm and expectations for hospital at home, their knowledge is relatively weak.Medical institutions should pay attention to nurses′ cognition and expectations of information management of hospital at home, provide a reference for formulating scientific and systematic hospital at home information ma-nagement plans, and help form an efficient mode of medical work.
