Abstract:Objective To discuss the application effect of an equipment management App in equipment fault repair and maintenance management in central sterile supply department. Methods A total of 56 devices in use from August 2020 to April 2021 were regarded as a control group and managed by using conventional manual; the same batch of equipment in use from August 2021 to April 2022 was taken as an intervention group and managed by the equipment management App. The repair response time and the number of regular maintenance overdue periods were compared between the two groups. Results The repair response time of the intervention group was significantly shorter than that of the control group, and the number of regular maintenance overdue periods was significantly less than that of the control group (P<0.05 for both). Conclusion The application of device management App in the equipment maintenance and management of the central sterile supply department realize the visualization, traceability, convenience and fine management of the central sterile supply department equipment, can effectively guarantee the normal operation of equipment, ensure stable performance, improve the work efficiency and ensure the supply quality of sterile medical devices.
