This article systematically reviews the steps of digital storytelling, the way of creating and presenting materials, the application and effect of digital storytelling in nursing education, community nursing and clinical nursing. It also presents the prospect of implementing digital storytelling in China, aiming to provide a reference for the development of digital storytelling in nursing in China.
