Based on the characteristics of the large demand for vascular access and the high incidence of catheter-related complications in patients with hematologic malignancies, this paper focuses on the timing of catheterization, catheterization site, and catheter types of vascular access devices, aiming to provide a reference for more reasonable application of such devices in China.
