Abstract:Objective To retrieve and screen the best evidence of oral nutritional supplements in perioperative adult colorectal cancer patients, summarize the best evidence under the ORTCC model, so as to provide a reference for optimizing the clinical implementation process of oral nutritional supplements. Methods Based on the ‘6S’ pyramid model, the literatures and evidence relevant to perioperative oral nutritional supplements of adult colorectal cancer patients were retrieved in domestic and overseas databases and professional websites, including clinical decision information book, guidelines, expert consensus, best evidence summaries and systematic reviews.Then the quality of evidence and literatures were evaluated, and included literatures were extracted and summarized referring to the ORTCC model. Results A total of 18 literatures were included, consisting of 7 guidelines, 6 expert consensus, 2 best evidence summaries and 3 systematic reviews.Finally, 26 pieces of best evidence in 5 dimensions were summarized. Conclusion The best evidence summary of oral nutritional supplements in perioperative adult colorectal cancer patients based on the ORTCC model, provides evidence for clinical practice.The evidence needs to be adjusted for different conditions to improve the efficacy of nutritional therapy and benefit patients.
