Abstract:Objective To investigate the return to work status among young and middle-aged patients with Coronary Heart Disease (CHD), and to analyze its influencing factors. Methods Theory, totally 270 young and middle-aged patients with CHD were conveniently selected, then they were surveyed by using a general data questionnaire, the Fatigue Scale-14, the Return to Work Self-efficacy Questionnaire and the Family Care Index at 3 months after discharge. Results A total of 249 patients were followed up successfully, and 153(61.4%) of them returned to work for 30(7,60) days.The results of logistic regression analysis indicated that, disease type, ejection fraction, gender, work quality, fatigue, return to work self-efficacy and family function were the independent factors influencing patients′ return to work (P<0.05 for all). Conclusion The return to work status among CHD patients needs to be improved.Medical staff should develop targeted rehabilitation program from CHD patients′ physiological, psychological and social aspects, so as to improve the rate of return to work.
