Abstract:Objective To construct the ideological and political teaching mode in Health Assessment, and to explore its application effect. Methods Four classes of vocational nursing students were divided into a control group (n=101) and an ideology and politics group (n=106) by using lottery. The control group was taught using conventional teaching method, while the ideology and politics group was taught utilizing ideological and political teaching model, which included establishing teaching team and training their ideological and political education ability, building the ideological and political teaching resources, taking the "socialist core values" and "student needs" as the main line and guide to implement teaching. The teaching effect was evaluated after this course completed. Results The usual performance, the nursing practice, the theory test and the total score of the ideology and politics group were significantly higher than those of the control group, and its evaluation score of the teaching model was significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.05,P<0.01). Conclusion The ideological and political teaching model effectively integrates knowledge transfer, ability training and value guidance, it is conducive to improving students′ learning effect and comprehensive quality, and it is recognized by students, and it is good for promoting teachers′ ideological and political education ability.
