Objective To explore the current status and influencing factors of humane care quality among nurses from hospitals in Enshi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture, so as to provide reference for realizing homogeneous human caring in that place. Methods A total of 334 nurses from 33 hospitals in Enshi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture were investigated using the scale of Quality of Humane Care. Results The participants′ total score of humane care quality was (121.60±13.16) points, and co-workers′ caring and working department were the influencing factors of the nurses′ humane care quality (P<0.05,P＜0.01). Conclusion The human care quality among nurses from hospitals in Enshi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture is at a medium level, the nurses obtaining more care from co-workers and pediatric nurses perceive higher quality of humane care. It is necessary to strengthen systematic human caring training for nurses, so as to improve their humane care quality.
