Objective To build a multi-system integrated platform for one-stop house calls based on Internet hospital, and to evaluate its application effects. Methods We designed a platform for patient submitting a request for home care.After 6-month application, the effect was compared with telephone appointment service. Results Over a period of 6 months using telephone appointment, we provided 12 types of home care for 63 patients, while over 6 months using the novel platform, we provided 28 types of home care for 299 patients.Patient satisfaction and nurses′ appraisal of the platform were significantly enhanced after application of the platform （P＜0.01 for both）. Conclusion The "Home Care" platform realizes the effective integration of multiple systems and multiple disciplines, which can provide patients with professional, efficient and convenient home care services, and promote the sustainable development of home care services.
