Both groups were given emergency treatment imme-diately.The control group received routine care, while their counterparts in the observation group were subjected to a CBT program. The Self-rating Anxiety Scale, Suicide Attitude Questionnaire, Herth Hope Scale were utilized to compar the effect between the two groups before and after the intervention. Results The observation group had significantly lower anxiety, whereas higher scores of suicide attitude and hope compared with the control group (P<0.05,P<0.01).
