Objective To develop a case base for "Ideological and Political Theory Education" in the curriculum of Nursing of Internal Medicine, and to provide reference for "Ideological and Political Theory Education". Methods We built a case base construction team, revised standards for the curriculum, determined six core ideological and political elements, collected cases, and invited experts to review the cases. Results A total of 131 cases were formulated for "Ideological and Political Theory Education" in the curriculum of Nursing of Internal Medicine, with 17 of them reflecting core socialist values, 18 reflecting scientific spirit, 15 reflecting the confidence in the path, theory, system and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics, 39 reflecting professional morality, 33 reflecting professionalism and 9 reflecting ethics and law. Conclusion 〖JP2〗Construction of case base for "Ideological and Political 〖JP〗Theory Education" in the curriculum of Nursing of Internal Medicine achieves better integration of ideological and political elements into nursing education, and finally realizes the organic unity of imparting knowledge, cultivating ability and guiding values.
