Objective To analyze the contents of clinical practice guidelines regarding management of fever in children, and to provide reference for clinical practice. Methods We searched for clinical practice guidelines regarding management of fever in children which were published from January 2010 to February 2021, and analyzed using content analysis method. Results Ten clinical practice guidelines were included, of which 6 were evidence-based guidelines, 3 were consensus guidelines and 1 was practice manual. Fifteen pieces of evidence relating management of children with fever were identified. Conclusion The related clinical practice guidelines provide effective evidence for management of fever in children. Actual situation in China, recommendations of the guidelines and the latest research evidence should be integrated to guide clinical practice.
