Objective To explore the application effect of hierarchical humanistic care training in pediatric nurses based on their needs. Methods The humanistic care training needs of pediatric nurses at different levels were understood using interview, then hierarchical humanistic care training was conducted in 142 pediatric nurses for 6 months according to the training needs, and their caring ability and training satisfaction were compared before and after the training. Results After the training, the caring ability and training satisfaction of the pediatric nurses at different levels were significantly higher than those before the training (P<0.05, P<0.01). Conclusion The hierarchical humanistic care training based on pediatric nurses′ needs is beneficial to increase their humanistic care ability and improve their training satisfaction.
