Abstract:Objective To investigate the willingness of community residents in Zhengzhou to use "Internet〖WT6”BZ〗+〖WT5”BZ〗nursing services" and to analyse the influencing factors. Methods A total of 346 community-dwelling residents in Zhengzhou were invited to complete a self-designed questionnaire in terms of their willingness to use "Internet〖WT6”BZ〗+〖WT5”BZ〗nursing services". Results Their willingness to use "Internet〖WT6”BZ〗+〖WT5”BZ〗 nursing services" scored 61.85±10.88. Significant differences in willingness to use "Internet〖WT6”BZ〗+〖WT5”BZ〗nursing services" were found among different age groups, educational backgrounds, place of residence, medical payment type, presence of chronic diseases, and whether know "Internet〖WT6”BZ〗+〖WT5”BZ〗nursing services" or not (P<0.05, P<0.01). Multiple linear regression showed that age, educational backgrounds, presence of chronic diseases, and whether know "Internet〖WT6”BZ〗+〖WT5”BZ〗nursing services" or not were factors influencing willingness to use "Internet〖WT6”BZ〗+〖WT5”BZ〗nursing services" (P<0.01 for all). Conclusion Community-dwelling residents report moderate level of willingness to use "Internet〖WT6”BZ〗+〖WT5”BZ〗nursing services". Service providers should enhance user-friendly function and simplify the access of service based on customers′ characteristics, especially for those who have lower educational background and chronic diseases.
