Abstract:Objective To construct a comprehensive geriatric assessment indicator system, and to provide reference for comprehensive assessment for the elderly. Methods The framework of the comprehensive geriatric assessment indicator system and preliminary drafting of rapid screening items were constructed through literature analysis and expert meeting, then a 2-round Delphi study was conducted among 24 experts to collect their opinion. Results The recovery rate of the inquiry papers were 92.31% and 100.00% in the 2 rounds, and experts′ authority coefficient was 0.880 and 0.850. The Kendall coordination coefficients of the first and second level indicators in the 2nd round of expert inquiry was 0.768 and 0.387 (P<0.01 for both), while the approval rate of rapid screening items was 93.36% and 97.70% in the 2 rounds. Finally, the comprehensive geriatric assessment indicator system including 6 first-level indicators, 26 second-level indicators, 25 rapid screening questions and 5 concise scales was established. Conclusion The constructed comprehensive geriatric assessment indicator system is scientific and reliable, which could quickly, comprehensively and systematically assess the general situation for the elderly, and could be used as a tool for the comprehensive assessment of the elderly after testing.
