Abstract:Objective To understand the willingness to and needs for providing Internet + nursing services among nurses in tertiary hospitals, and to provide reference for improving the nursing service model. Methods Thirteen nurses from 1 tertiary hospital received semi-structured one-to-one in-depth interview, then data were transcribed and analyzed by Colaizzi phenomenological method. Results Four themes were identified: strong willingness to provide Internet + nursing services; need for personal safety and practice safety; need for nursing risk control; and need for reasonable fees. Conclusion Nurses working in tertiary hospital are strongly willing to provide Internet + nursing service, and their main needs include safety guarantee, related standardization and regulations, and reasonable reward. The administrative departments should take active measures to promote the healthy development of this model.
