Objective To construct and implement an intervention program for positive emotion writing expression in patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis, and to explore its effects on psychological resilience and subjective well-being.Methods The intervention program for positive emotion writing expression was constructed based on evidence and expert consensus.A convenience sampling method was utilized to select 80 patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis who were followed up from July 2023 to January 2024.These patients were randomly divided into two groups of 40 each.The control group received standard nursing care, while the intervention group received positive emotion writing expression intervention in addition to standard care.After an 8-week intervention period, the levels of psychological resilience and subjective well-being were compared between the two groups.Results After the intervention, the intervention group showed significant improvements in psychological resilience and subjective well-being scores (both P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of the positive emotion writing expression intervention program can enhance psychological resilience and subjective well-being levels in patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis, thereby increasing their confidence in overcoming illness.
